Overview

Restoran Infasha Bukit Katil, nestled in the heart of Malacca at Taman Merak Mas, is a well-loved local spot that blends casual dining with an authentic Malaysian culinary experience. This restaurant specializes in classic comfort foods that draw from traditional flavors, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors seeking hearty and satisfying meals.

The menu is packed with favorites such as Nasi Goreng Kampung, Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng, and various styles of Maggi and Kuey Teow Goreng. Each dish delivers robust, vibrant flavors, showcasing the rich heritage of Malaysian wok-fried and spiced rice specialties. Their standout fried chicken dishes, especially those freshly prepared, capture hearts with their irresistible aroma and crisp texture – a hit among diners who often stop by to catch live football matches, creating a lively, social atmosphere.

The dining space at Restoran Infasha Bukit Katil is open and airy, contributing to a relaxed environment ideal for casual meals across breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The absence of air conditioning is offset by good ventilation, which maintains comfort even during warmer days. Ample parking nearby enhances convenience for guests arriving by car.

The experience is further elevated by attentive and friendly staff who ensure diners feel welcomed and well-served from the moment they arrive. While the atmosphere may be more suited for gathering with friends or solo visits rather than romantic dates, it excels as a no-fuss dining destination where food comes fast and tastes better than competing outlets.

In terms of challenges, some reviews point out issues with fly control and slight smoke presence from the kitchen area, which the management could address to improve overall comfort. Additionally, occasional feline visitors may be a surprise, but they typically do not interfere with the dining experience.

Overall, Restoran Infasha Bukit Katil stands as a vibrant culinary hub in Bukit Katil, delivering reliable local flavors, a lively community vibe, and a menu that consistently pleases. Perfect for those who appreciate genuine Malaysian street food served in a simple, welcoming space.

I recently ate at a nasi kandar. The food was okay, but the sweet gravy was too much and made everything too sweet. The curry wasn't mixed well either. The dishes themselves were nice, though. There were too many flies around the food area. The place also had a lot of smoke coming from the kitchen. They need to add something to control flies and improve the ventilation.

Usual haunt for watching football matches, especially for LFC football matches. Guaranteed full house. Oh, their fried chicken is the best! especially when it is freshly out from the pressure cooker. Can smell it even from afar. We always can't resist to order the freshly done fried chicken when we are there watching a game. Janji jilat jari!

The place remains comfortably cool in the afternoon despite the absence of air-conditioning. Sufficient parking spaces are available both in front and behind the shop. The staff here is friendly and accommodating. Their menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including nasi campur, nasi/bihun/maggie/mee goreng, roti canai, rojak, and more. The food is generally regarded as satisfying and enjoyable with reasonable price.

A nice restaurant to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are on the move, it's nice. The food comes really fast. Place you can take your buddies, not your date. You can have food alone as well. The service is good. The moment you sit down, you get attended to. The food is tastier if you compare the same to other shops. It's an open restaurant as on with no closed doors. Hence, on a hot day, you might feel the heat. Having said that, good ventilation won't make you feel uncomfortable at the same time. Some cats are seen strolling near some tables. If anyone has allergies, then stay away. Otherwise, the cats don't bother you much. Don't feed the cats. Payment can be done by cash or QR wallet.
